I'm back!


I'M BACK!

It has been thirteen years since I had a blog.  I used to be known as Left of Centrist, but for some unexplained reason Blogger decided to take it from me without notice and give it to someone else.  Now, I am far from Left of Centrist, I have become so far left it is hard to see the center anymore, and I have one man to blame for that, Donald John Trump.  You see, I refuse to use his title when discussing him because his lies and actions over the past three years and four plus months have shown me he is the most unworthy of the title this country has ever seen.

We are now in turmoil, not only because of the public execution of George Floyd, but in the final analysis, it is Trump himself who has allowed institutional racism to be the norm and we are better than that.

Over the past few days, we have witnessed people of all colors and stripes of life come together as a single voice.  While it is true that there has been some rioting, looting, and  violence, recent news has come to the light that man Conservatives have been posting on Twitter claiming to be Antifa, while they are the real ones causing the trouble.

Trump has sworn to send troops to fight off the protesters when many are peaceful and demanding change in the way police departments around the country treat Black suspects.    What Trump needs to do is STFU.

Let's look at the case of Dylan Roof.  On June 17, 2015, Roof, who is White, entered a Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, and proceeded to kill nine African Americans.  He was taken alive and sentence to nine life sentences.    Now had a Black man entered a White Church and killed a single person, the odds are he would have been shot dead.

It has become an epidemic of unarmed Black men being murdered by police.  I know many claim they are scared, but the truth is, if a suspect is unarmed, they have a gun, there is nothing to be afraid of.  Just another case of racism.

I will keep an eye on what's going on and try to come back one or two times a day and give you my opinion and, most of the time, armed with facts.

Covid-19 US-0

Covid-19  US-0 Covid-19 has shown the true colors of many Americans, particularly those of - shudder - Donald Trump.  He could care less about the Pandemic, although he give it the old college try in the beginning, but, he wasn't that good in college either.  That is correct, this " stable genius " saw it coming in January when he was briefed about it, but he ignored all the warnings and even two months later he was reticent to suggest people quarantine.  And it later became a suggestion and he would leave it up to the governors instead of  mandated quarantine for all but necessary workers.  By leaving it to the governors, we saw Blue states cracking down, while Red States continued to ignore the warnings as if Conservatives were somehow too touch for the virus. Is Donald Trump Evil?

Is Donald Trump Evil?  By Robert Rouse Provocative headline?  Absolutely!  But is it a question that needs to be probed?  Definitely.  Within his first one-hundred days as president ( lower case "p" with Trump always ) Trump proved his xenophobic racism by declaring a ban on Muslims entering the country and although it obviously went against the First Amendment on making no laws pertaining to religion, the Conservative stacked Supreme Court upheld his decision.  Of course this was just his first move and there were many shocking edicts to come down from the self-proclaimed " chosen one ". He has made several decisions that go against common sense when it comes to protecting the environment.  He had the Interior Department open up more land for oil and gas leasing by cutting back protected areas and limiting wildlife protections even allowing drilling in the National Park System.  According to energy and legal analysts, the Trump administratio...
